Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore, is an incredible Hollywood actress and author who's talents have brought her critical acclaim and recognition. Sagittarius. Her birthplace was in North Carolina, on 3rd December 1960. She's the oldest of three siblings born to Peter Moore Smith, a paratrooper and Anne a psychologist. She is of English-Scottish descent. Due to her father's job the Moore family moved a lot and she struggled to establish friendships or maintain ones. Moore's family moved into Germany and she was a student at Frankfurt American High School, where her first acting roles included in plays. In 1983 she received the Bachelor of Fine Arts at Boston University. After graduating, Moore moved to New York, where she began her professional career in off-Broadway theatre. Steven Spielberg chose Moore to portray the role of the protagonist for Jurassic Park: The Lost World. The movie was one of the most popular films released that year. She was awarded an SAG nomination in 1999 for the role she played in Magnolia, a critically acclaimed film. The Hours starred Moore in 2002 and was nominated by nine Academy Awards along with Nicole Kidman. Other movies Moore has appeared in include The Forgotten (2004) Freedomland (2006) Shelter (2010) and Shelter (2010). In 2014, she starred in Non-Stop. Moore was a regular on many television and film shows. Moore's most recent role as a lead actress was in When You Finish saving the World (2022). Her career as an actress in Hollywood is well established and she's also an author of children's novels. In 2007, she released Freckleface Strawberry, which became a New York Times bestseller. Best-seller, it was also made into a series as well as a music. Her 2013 book, My Mom is a Foreigner also became a top-selling. Moore is a successful actor and author is also known for making her personal life known to the world. She split from John Robin in 1995. Moore has two children along with Bart Freundlich whom she later got married in 2003. Moore's focus is on her friends, family and her work.
